My scale is simple:
1———–>3———->5
Terrible———–>Fantastic
A score of 1 means I actively disliked the album.
A score of 2 means it was satisfactory.
A score of 3 means it’s a very good listen.
A score of 4 means it’s an excellent listen and you should go listen if you have any interest whatsoever.
A score of 5 means it’s a fantastic listen and you should go listen.
These scores are subjective, so while discussing an album is fun, nitpicking over why it’s a 3 instead of a 4 is not. In fact, if our scores differ by only one point, I’d say we’re right on.
