Sounds like typical WiGo. Thankfully, you have a solid plan for resolving the situation (I also like to use BBB).

Perhaps not surprisingly, this post receives a lot of visitors and search results, probably because many people have serious problems with their services.

I purchased a phone for $120 from WiGOAttic, which the WiGo Wireless site describes as their new webstore. They deducted money from my bank account a month ago and I have received no phone. There was one response to my first email inquiry, then nothing. The webstore website states their physical address is the WiGo Wireless store in Falls Church, VA, but the two times I have called their store, their employees claim to have no knowledge or information about WiGOAttic other than it is a "sister" company. I left my contact information twice for the WiGoWireless manager to contact me but received no response. Today I went to the store in person to speak to the person I was told is the manager. Ironically, his name is "Cheaty." Cheaty admitted WiGoAttic is a "sister" company but he denied the physical WiGo Wireless store has anything to do with them. He said he has no way to get in touch with them but if I leave my name and number (for the third time) he will let his manager know about the problem. When I asked Cheaty who his manager his, who owns or is responsible for the WiGo Wireless store, he told me he does not know. So now I am being told by the "manager" of the store that he does not know the name and number of the person who employs him, and even if he did he would not give me that information because it would not be right to give it to me. Okaaaay. I am now at home where I will call the local police so I can make a formal report of theft, showing the policeman my debit card statement which clearly shows the debit from my account a month ago and says "WIGO Attic 703-241-9446 VA. Doing a reverse look-up online clearly shows this phone number to be the WiGo Wireless phone number located in the store I just left. Next, my husband, who is also a lawyer will issue a demand letter for the crummy $120 they stole from me and we will go to small claim court to get it. I will also file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office because this is far more than just a $%#-up, it is a pattern of lies and obfuscation that might lead to others being victimized worse than I have.

I like the About section: "I was a rock critic for a few years. And then I vomited."
